Made from Uddeholm 15n20 high carbon steel from a retired lumbermill bandsaw blade, lacewood (scrap from a furniture maker), and brass pins.  This is a light and nimble, multi-use knife that is good for mincing, dicing, slicing, and chopping, with a thin, flat ground primary bevel.  The handle has an octogon cross-section for excellent indexing and comfort (think of a tennis racket handle).  It is heat treated to about 61 Rockwell for good edge retention, while retaining enough toughness to not chip easily and be sharpened with little difficulty.  Comes with edge protector.
