Made from Uddeholm 15n20 high carbon steel from a retired lumbermill bandsaw blade, flame treated osage orange handle, and brass pins.  Hollow primary bevel, transitioning to a flat bevel near the edge (called an S-grind) for good food release, and easy slicing. Heat treated to about 61 Rockwell for good edge retention, while retaining enough toughness to not chip easily and be sharpened with little difficulty.  Comes with edge protector.
