The blade is hand forged from 52100 high cabon steel roller bearing, heat treated to 62 Rockwell hardness.  Flat ground quite thin at the edge.
Carbon steel care applies.
 
The handle is carved from resin-hardened/stabilized alder into an octagon cross section.
