The blade is a sheepsfoot pattern with chainsaw chain clad 1084.  The handle is 16 gauge brass sheet.  Based on friction folding knives from the 18th century, but with an artistic flare.  The 1084 high carbon steel blade takes an excellent edge and holds it very well.   The damascus steel is created by adding chainsaw chain and powdered 1084 high carbon steel into a canester and forge welding it all together.

The riveted pin applies tension to keep the blade in the open or closed position. The low profile fits nicely in a pocket.
