1 3/4 pound axe head, hand forged from scrap chromoly forklift fork with an early Iron Age inspired profile. Heat treated to 52 Rockwell hardness for a nice balance of durability and edge retention.  The bevel is flat ground to a fine edge that is well suited for precision work.
