"upset" rebar candle holder.

"Upsetting" in blacksmithing is defined as, reducing the length and increasing the width of a bar through forging.  

These were made by taking a 3.5" long piece of 1.25" thick rebar, standing in on end, and forging it down to a half inch x 3 inches and forging and indentation to place a candle. 

Made from reclaimed steel and weighs about 1.2 lbs.

 

This is for one candle holder with a beeswax tea light candle.
